About ProAppGuide

ProAppGuide is an independent directory of software for trades and home-service businesses. ProAppGuide is owned and operated by Feral Scholar Media, LLC.

Software review sites are built for every industry at once, and their prices are often years out of date. ProAppGuide only covers tools that HVAC techs, plumbers, electricians, cleaners, landscapers, roofers, pest and pool pros, handymen, and contractors actually use, from big platforms to small indie products.

How we get our data

• Descriptions are written by us.
• Starting prices come only from the vendor's own public pricing page or website. If a vendor doesn't publish pricing, we say "Not public". We never estimate.
• Our pricing tracker saves snapshots of each vendor's pricing page and flags changes. Every listing shows when it was last checked.
• We don't use scraped review-site data.

How we make money

Vendors can pay for a featured listing, which adds a labeled badge and top placement. Some outbound links may become affiliate links in future, and they'll be marked. Payment never changes prices, facts, or comparisons.
